New generation at trailer manufacturer STEMA: Marcus Antrack, 41, is taking over the authorised signatory sceptre.

The native Grossenhainer has known the trailer business for 15 years. On January 16, 2016, he will follow in the footsteps of his predecessor, Wolfgang Kriebel.

Our current authorised signatory, Wolfgang Kriebel, will be leaving STEMA at the end of the year and retiring. He accompanied our business for 27 years. One of his greatest challenges was the transfer of STEMA into the private sector. At that time, he was still the commercial director. Since then, STEMA has been one of the few Großenhain companies that have remained successful on the market. Wolfgang Kriebel implemented several large projects in the last 10 years. In so doing, he laid the foundation for continual growth in the area of specialist dealers and professional product range without losing sight of the DIY sector. In addition, he rang in a new way of thinking about conscientious management of natural resources.

Marcus Antrack’s career has run linearly. After completing his graduate studies in economic engineering, he signed on at STEMA in 2001. He took on the responsibility for controlling for the entire budget. As authorised signatory, he will continue the company strategy established by his predecessor. Antrack will pay special attention to personnel development and the next generation at STEMA. “The demographic change in the coming years will require us to deliver creative ideas and solutions, especially in the area of trailer production,” said Antrack.

Kriebel is leaving the company at a good time. In 2014, STEMA obtained a return on sales far higher than the industry average. In the same year, the trailer producer sold 42,635 “Made in Germany” trailers. The forecast for 2015 is also around 42,000 trailers. “One should leave, when it is most enjoyable. After more than 27 years, it is time to put the sceptre in younger hands. Mr. Antrank has my complete trust,” said Kriebel. Michael Jursch – Executive Director of STEMA: “I would like to say thank you for the fruitful collaboration with Wolfgang Kriebel. He promoted STEMA with a worldview. I wish him personally all the best for the future, and I am glad that Mr. Kriebel will remain with us in a consulting capacity.“
